KSSTC Spray Drying Nozzle
Design Features
Large orifice nozzles produce larger droplets for high flow rate demand applications
Unique swirl chamber design ensures optimal performance of spray drying nozzles, ensuring uniform droplet distribution and uniform droplet size with minimal product waste.
SSTC nozzles can be used in pressure environments below 1000 psi (70 bar) for quick transfer.
Stainless steel springs secure the swirl chamber to the orifice insert, with flow rates ranging from 51 to 1350 gph at 1000 psi (195 to 5140 L/h at 70 bar)
Sloped bottom design minimizes erosion of the swirl chamber bottom by reducing the “drilling” effect of fluid rotation in the swirl chamber, thereby extending wear life.
Flat bottom design has large channels to reduce clogging and downtime.
Nozzle body is made of 303 stainless steel, swirl chamber is made of tungsten carbide, and orifice insert is made of carbide alloy. Swirl chambers and orifices made of other materials are available upon request.
Angles range from 19° to 104° at 1000 psi (70 bar).
Applications:
Soaps & Detergents, Dyes & Pigments, Coffee & Tea, Plastics & Resins, Biochemicals, Fertilizers & Pesticides, Pharmaceuticals, Dairy.
